Windows XP and Vista can be very particular in requiring the user to have administrative privileges when installing software. Please use the following steps to ensure your user name has administrative privileges. Ensuring administrative privileges will make sure proper installation of your new software package is achieved.

Please follow these steps before installing your new Heavy Metal Software package.

Windows XP:

1) Control Panel
2) User Accounts
3) Click User Name
4) Change my account type
5) Computer Administrator radio button
6) Click the Change Account Type button

Windows Vista:

1) Control Panel
2) User accounts
3) Change your account type
4) Administrator radio button
5) Click the Change Account Type button
