The Heavy Metal Team XP and Vista Installation Notes Windows XP and Vista can be very particular in requiring the user to have administrative privileges when installing software. Please use the following steps to ensure your user name has administrative privileges. Ensuring administrative privileges will make sure proper installation of your new software package is achieved. Please follow these steps before installing your new Heavy Metal Software package. Windows XP: 1) Control Panel 2) User Accounts 3) Click User Name 4) Change my account type 5) Computer Administrator radio button 6) Click the Change Account Type button Windows Vista: 1) Control Panel 2) User accounts 3) Change your account type 4) Administrator radio button 5) Click the Change Account Type button Thank you for your interest in Heavy Metal Software. Heavy Metal Software Co. *********************************************************************** Basic Instructions: Inserting Records: 1) Click the Insert Button 2) Enter the desired information in the new record 3) Click the Post Button Updating Records: 1) Navigate to the desired record 2) Make the desired changes to the record 3) Click the Post Button Deleting Records: 1) Navigate to the record you wish to delete. 2) Click the Delete Button. 3) Select Yes to delete the record or No to cancel deleting the record. Creating New Load Files: 1) Select "File...New" from the main menu or click the Create a new load file button. 2) Enter a name for the new load file. 3) Click the Save Button to save and create the new load file. Opening A Load File: 1) Select "File...Open...Load Inventory" from the main menu or click the Open a load file button. 2) Select the load file you wish to open.
